I grew up thinking alcohol was the best thing ever, and thought that being a fun person went hand in hand with heavy drinking. I went through my teenage years and university days drinking heavily and regularly, as it was just the norm. It took a long time to realise it was impacting my mental health, personal life, confidence, and self-development – in a dramatic way.

When I was 22, I had my final drink, woke up the next day feeling hungover, smelling bad, and realized I was living with constant regret and self-doubt. Enough was enough, and I stopped drinking on the 27th of December 2020.

Since then, I’ve changed my life completely. I’ve made new friends, improved myself, changed my mindset, and become the person I always thought I was. I’m kinder, stronger, happier, and more thoughtful. I’m still sensitive, and still struggle with my mental health, but my resilience has improved tenfold.

I want to help people live their best lives and be the best version of themselves. I want to make sober life for 20-somethings the norm, and allow people to discover life can and will be filled with so much more happiness and joy. I hope that I can assist people in letting go of their addictions and find their ppurpose. I also take a holistic approach with those who are interested, and enjoy working on changing mindsets and improving wellbeing.

"I always felt safe, comfortable, and listened to in my coaching sessions with Charlie.  We began with some mindfulness breathing which really helped to set a calm atmosphere and allowed me to feel more open and clear-headed.  I felt Charlie listened in detail to what I said, was able to summarise succinctly, and asked the right questions to open up discussions further. By the end of our sessions, I felt like so much progress had been made and that I had the tools to refocus and reframe my issues moving forward.  I really appreciated that Charlie was so genuine, easy to talk to, and made me feel like she really believed in me. Charlie would be the first person I recommend to anyone.  She has had such a positive impact on my outlook and given me tools that I can use for the rest of my life."
