OTI Coaching is the part of the website where OTI recommends qualified coaches to the members. OTI Coaching is not a coaching business – it is a referral system so that OTI can refer its members to qualified coaches.
Each individual recommended coach must have been trained on a course that’s recognised by either the International Coaching Federation (ICF) or the Association for Coaches (AC). They must provide evidence of their credentials before they will be considered.
Each coach is responsible for managing the relationship with the client, including laying out their terms and conditions with a contract before any paid coaching takes place. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, each client agrees that they understand that you are entering in to a separate agreement with each individual recommended coach and must abide by their own individual terms and conditions
All OTI recommended coaches agree to offer the same rates to people who come to them through OTI – this rate is currently £50 per hour for members (on either a Monthly Membership or an Annual Membership) and £75 per hour for non-members, and may be subject to change. Over The Influence takes a 20% referral fee from every booking.
OTI will collect in fees through our booking system, and pay out each coach individually for coaching hours completed. It is the responsibility of the coach to send an invoice to OTI at the end of every calendar month for work completed that month.
Becoming an OTI Recommended Coach
OTI’s recommended coaches are people who have been an active part in the community for at least six months. Active doesn’t mean subscribed – it means, for example, that they have attended Zoom calls, posted in the forums, or attended events.
Any new coaches we recommend must have been trained on a course that’s recognised by either the International Coaching Federation (ICF) or the Association for Coaches (AC). They must provide evidence of their credentials before they will be considered.
Any new recommended coach must be accepted by all current coaches with a unanimous vote.
If you are dependent on alcohol, or think you may be, we strongly recommend that you seek professional medical advice as for some people, stopping drinking can have serious side effects on both body and mind.
Alcohol dependency is a condition where abrupt withdrawal from alcohol can have
serious physical and psychological side effects. OTI is not suitable for any person who suffers from alcohol dependency or other related medical conditions.
If you are, or suspect you may be, alcohol dependent or have a related medical condition, you must seek professional medical advice and support before reducing or stopping your alcohol intake or joining the OTI Community.
If at any time while using our services you become concerned you may be experiencing alcohol withdrawal symptoms (see definition and symptom list below), or have symptoms you are unsure of, then you must seek professional medical advice and support without delay.
If you have severe alcohol withdrawal symptoms, you must contact your local emergency service as a matter of urgency to receive the appropriate medical care.
If you have severe mental health occurrences, such as suicidal thoughts or episodes of self-harm, please seek professional help and support without delay.
Acute alcohol withdrawal symptoms can be experienced if an alcohol-dependent person suddenly reduces the amount of alcohol they drink, if they have previously been drinking excessively for prolonged periods of time.
Alcohol withdrawal symptoms can include nausea and vomiting, hand tremors, profuse sweating, severe headaches, agitation, confusion, panic attacks, a feeling of disorientation, severe hyperactivity, faints, fever, tactile disturbance (itching, ‘pins and needles’, a burning sensation, numbness, or a feeling of something crawling on your skin), auditory/visual disturbance (increased awareness of sounds or light intensity, feeling scared or disturbed by sounds, hallucinations), and seizures.
Sharon, Ben or any member of the OTI Team will not offer their opinion on any medication, supplement or treatment.
If you are physically dependent on alcohol, or think you may be, it is essential that you seek professional medical advice from your GP or hospital Accident and Emergency department before joining our community, which provides support and connection, not qualified medical advice.
We are not qualified health professionals or counsellors. If you are physically dependent on alcohol, in some cases stopping drinking suddenly can be fatal. Please seek qualified medical advice.
